Wait, I what? I punched a werewolf? In the face?!

You.

Name: Nichole
Age: Me and Esme, we go back. Waaaaay back. (read, I’m 27)
Gender: Captain of the Girly-Girl squad

3 Words to Describe you:
Positive Things about you: Creative, Compassionate, Whimsical
Negative Things about you: Anxious, Perfectionist, Competitive
Talents: I sing, write, scrapbook, cook, and I’m superb at random acts of sillyness.
Weaknesses: My dog making *that* face, make-up, a good movie
Fears: failure, bad grades, spiders, and the Hollywood Blvd. Elmo.
5 Things you like: (food, weather, things you like to do, anything) warm weather, bands that none of my friends like, books, school (yes, I’m serious), pandas
5 Things you don’t like: insensitivity, bills, wearing shoes, chemistry, snow(!!!!!)

Music you like: Hanson, Sarah McLachlan, The Used, John Mayer, Ryan Adams, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Maroon 5, Evanescence, Ani DiFranco, Chevelle, BarlowGirl, Third Day, Nichole Nordeman, Flyleaf, Paramore, Sarah Bareilles, Bebo Norman, Billy Joel, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Fray, Casting Crowns
Favorite Movies: Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Interview with the Vampire, Pirates of the Caribbean, Wizard of Oz, Stardust, Sweeney Todd, Juno, Wristcutters: A Love Story, Hello Dolly, 10 Things I Hate About You, Nightmare Before Christmas, Fight Club, Harry Potter, Snatch, Juno

Favorite Places: (cities, countries, ect.) Sad as it is to say, I’ve never been outside of the US. But I am a fan of St. Louis. Love New Orleans (though, I haven’t been back since Katrina.), Dallas is okay, and I love Los Angeles.
Do you like being spoiled?: (as in.. Does people spending money on you, bother you?) I’m okay with spoiling myself. But when other people get me things…I get kinda speechless and I don’t know what to say and I feel awkward. Don’t get me wrong, I am so very grateful that someone would spend money on me and given thought to me. I just never know what to say.
Do you have a high self-esteem or a low self-esteem?: On a scale of self-likability ranging from 1-10, with 1 being the lowest, my self-likability is about a 1.5.

On Relationships.

If you could create your dream guy/girl..
What would their eye color be? That perfect summer-day sky blue color, with little flecks of green.
What would their hair color be?: Dark, almost blackish-brown, kind of the color of wetted soil. Curly, like Spanish moss and long.
What would be their age range?: A couple years older than me would be the best. Mid thirties would be nice.
What would their height be?: (you don’t have to be specific. Tall/short/normal would be just fine.) Well, I’m 6’0”, so someone taller than me.
What would their body build be like?: (the answers for this will obviously be different between guys and girls. For example a guy could be muscular or lanky or a girl could be curvy or slender.) Fluffy, like they enjoy a good meal. With a sort of jovial-looking disposition.

What type of people do you usually fall for?: The wrong type—which is to say they’re typically charismatic, talented in some way (though, I lean especially towards musicians or writers), critical thinkers who like to discuss politics and music (when I’m lucky, someone who also likes to talk literature). Good with people, the kind of person who makes friends with just about anyone who crosses their path.

When it comes to relationships list the following words in importance.. (from most important to least)
Intelligence
Wealth
Beauty (appearance)
Personalty
Popularity (this just means.. how well liked they are by people- we’re not talking cheerleaders in highschool here.)
My answer: Personality, Intelligence, Popularity, Beauty, Wealth

For each This or That question, Choose the Trait that Appeals to You In People..
Reserved or Outgoing: Outgoing, with a little reservation
Loud or Quiet: Quiet. I’m loud enough for two people
Timid or Flirty: Timidy
Strange or Normal: Strange!
Optimistic or Pessimistic: Realistic.
Over Dramatic or Easy Going: Easy going. Again, I’m dramatic enough.
Dark and Witty or Sunny and Happy: Dark and Witty.
Head in the Clouds or Down to Earth: A mix. I find whimsy in a person to be appealing.
Risky or Safe: Safe.
Sweet or Edgy: I think I usually kind of tend toward edgy
Sophisticated or Laid-Back: Laid-back
Someone who thinks with their head or heart: Heart. Logic is for the birds!
Mature or Immature: Mature!
Stubborn or Easy to Persuade: Stubborn—I like someone who can put up a fight if they need to.
Intelligent or Average: (average meaning not completely brainy.. Just normal) Intelligent. I’ve been told that in the brain-department, I tend to be a little intimidating, so someone smarter than me would probably be good.
Bookworm or Party Animal: (meaning would you rather have someone who would rather stay at home and chillax there or someone who always wants to go out and have a good time.) Bookworm. I’m a homebody and would DREAD the idea of being drug out all the time.

Situation Questions.

1. You really like somebody but you know you can’t be with them (whether its because your family hates them and won’t let you see them or they wouldn’t fit your lifestyle or some other realistic reason..) would you continue trying to make it work with them or would you break it off and move on? I think I’d give it a go, just to say that we tried—so that I wouldn’t be inclined to look back and “what if” about the situation. I mean, if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. But at least we can say we tried.

2. Would you risk your partners happiness for your own? Negative. I’m willing—and have done in the past—to give up my own peace of mind, my own happiness, to save the happiness of another person. I just feel as though to peace of another person means so much more than my own.

3. You’re in love with somebody but they’re in love with someone else. How would you react to that? Would you try to win them over or would you pull yourself together and move on? Well, having been in that situation, this is what I have done: I step aside. It doesn’t make the love go away, and it usually makes it harder, but I can’t force someone to love me. They either will or won’t. And in general, I’d rather see the object of my affection happy—even if it’s not with me—than to be stuck with me and less happy than they would be with the other person.

4. Do you tend to change yourself for people? (In other words: If you’re nothing like the person you’re trying to be with would you change yourself in anyway to be with them? And no.. Im not talking about becoming a vampire so you can spend an eternity with your vampire-sweetheart.) Nope. I am who am I am. And you’re pretty much stuck with it. It’s not worth changing yourself for another person.

5. Describe your dream date. Home with a movie and a homemade dinner. Giggling about a movie and walking the dog together. It seems so simple and probably silly. However, I spend so much time with either my nose in a book (because of school—I’m a pre-med major) or at work (and I work in a day care), that something that simple would be just perfect.

6. Would you rather be out and about with your partner or would you rather be stay at home. Again, I’m a total homebody. I do enjoy going out from time-to-time, but I’d rather be at home.

On Twilight.

Character you relate most to: cliché ahead: Bella. But I do. She’s flustered and freaked out by strangers and attention. She loathes the snow (almost as much as I do). She’s funny in (seemingly) in intentional ways. She can be a bit of a spaz.
Character you can't relate to: Rosalie. Cannot stand her whatsoever.
Favorite Book in the series and why: New Moon. To quote myself: “Bella’s despair can be felt by the reader. Made especially possible if the reader has lived through that kind of sadness. Bella’s voice is so real, so true, so heartbreakingly clear. We read books for so many reasons. Often, books give us the ability to work through our own sadnesses because they offer us a voice that can say the things we can’t, feel the way we don’t want to feel, and have hope when we don’t feel there’s any hope to be had. Bella, in New Moon, gave me a reason to believe that there is a way beyond a sadness I had held on to for too long.”

If you could choose one character that you wish would have done something in the series differently, who would that be? And what would you make them do differently? I’d have forced Bella to pick a different baby name! What was she thinking?! Other than that, I’m just not sure. An attitude adjustment for Leah would have been nice too.
If you could be one character for a day, which character would you be? I’d say Alice, but that clairvoyance thing is something I don’t think I could handle. The future, though permeable, is far too scary. So, then, Emmett. Because nothing gets him down. Life, such as it is for a vampire, is fun for him. He doesn’t let anything get him down and he’s just a big ol’ bear! I love Emmett.

Before we stamp you.

Do you want to be paired with a male, female, or ether? It doesn’t really matter.

Is there any specific group you want to be paired with? (vampire, werewolf, human?) Again, it doesn’t matter.

Young characters (teenagers/young adults), Older characters (the parents), or ether? Whatever fits for me, I’m fine with.
